I suggest you download NMM[nexus mod manager first! It will download and install most mods for you. Many mods require NVSE inorder for them to work! Once you have nvse installed, always use it to launch the game! Do not launch from your Steam library NV launcher. ONLY NVSE goes into the main game folder. Do not put them in the "Data" sub folder! Data is where you place regular mod files when you have to manually install them, yet some mods Must be manually installed and ALL of those types of mods go into the data sub folder. Put the nvse files in this MAIN game folder. Once unpacked you either copy and paste or drag and drop each of the nvse files into you main New Vegas game folder, here's the path C drive/programs 86/Steam/Steam apps/common/Fallout New Vegas. So Fallout new california came out and i wanted to try it out after not playing fallout nv for a long time, i completely uninstalled all mods and the game it self by uninstalling.
